red rock canyon, nevada

i stopped through red rock canyon near las vegas.  i think mo's niece jacquelyn (sp?) recommended this one.  the national park has a 13 mile loop that runs along the base of the canyon with access to a bunch of trail heads.  i got in free with my pass!

unfortunately i had a lot on the day's schedule, so i didn't go on any hikes which i'm sure would have been great.  some other time?  i think it will be hard to resist any opportunity in the future to return to all the places i've been to so far.








then i went into las vegas to get some errands done including van maintenance at jiffy lube, groceries at walmart, and some miscellaneous camping gear at rei.
