flagstaff, arizona

flagstaff is half way between the grand canyon and phoenix.  i stopped there to look around, make a sandwich, talk on the phone, organize my van...  yeah, my van requires constant upkeep, which makes sense for a complete living/traveling space that's maybe 60 square feet of floor space with a 4 foot ceiling. at least i don't need a garage.

flagstaff has some nice houses.  here are some random in-passing photos.

the parking lady parked behind me and vandalized my vehicle by spraying a color coded mark on my tire.  i was tempted to go paint her tires completely pink!  : )

part of my lunch included nutellafied apples!

continuing to phoenix down interstate 17, i experienced a welcomed drop in altitude/ rise in temperature.  yay, cacti!  this is the aridzona i was anticipating.

the first night in phoenix i spent in a walmart parking lot next to an rv camper.  outside parking lots in this area have music playing through speakers on the light poles.  interestingly, this creates an atmosphere like being inside by giving them a kind of audio-canvas.
