that particular hike has some nice examples of prehistoric petroglyphs. at first i wasn't seeing them because i didn't really know what i was looking for. there was one other guy on the trail who was taking quality photos. he pointed out an example for me, and then i was seeing them all over! they were right in plain sight the whole time. i was jst focussing on the wrong parts of the multi-textured/multi-colored rocks. hmh. cool.

but it doesn't show what these petroglyphs mean... ?? hmh!
