sitting bull falls, new mexico

early in the morning i headed to the sitting bull falls.  the sunrise clouds were again colorful.

i ate breakfast in my van while waiting for the park gate to open.  once in, it was only a short trail to the bottom of the 130-foot high falls.

i was the only one there, so it was especially nice.  i bet the falls are glamorous when the sun is high enough to shine on them.

there was more water than shows up in the photos.

i also hiked to the top of the falls and enjoyed relaxing in the warm sun.  i got to reflect on life a little bit.

i love waterfalls.
