new mexico - state #20

on to my 20th state for the trip, new mexico.   i took the southern swooping route along interstate 10 and 25 to travel between phoenix and albuquerque.   it's about an 11 hour drive plus stops.

before getting out of arizona, i passed some military equipment.  this one was filling up on gas.

why can't we have such pretty decorated overpasses in pennsylvania too?

i took a slight detour between the interstates to go through silver city.

didn't get a picture of any signs, but yes there is a place called 'truth or consequences' that i passed on my way to albuquerque.
