quoddy head state park is the easternmost point in the continental usa. i got up during twilight and drove through customs back into the states in time for the sunrise.
then i proceeded up route 1 to calais, maine and filled up my gas tank before crossing back into canada. good thing i did that because gas in canada is $4/gallon!!
