cape cod national seashore, massachusetts

to see what was there, i went all the way out to the tip of massachusetts where cape cod national seashore and provincetown are exposed to the ocean elements.    it was almost a cloudless sky.

the cool and steady wind was chilling in competition with the sun's baking effect.  when parked in a place with direct sunlight, i found a balanced temperature by having one window opened about an inch for the wind.

the dunes and beaches were quite beautiful.  in fact it happily surprised me.  i didn't have any expectations, but enjoyed finding myself in the relatively undeveloped nature.

too chilly to enjoy sitting on the beach, but the view from my van at a parking lot was quite satisfying.
