bay of fundy

the tide has very extreme highs and lows in the fundy bay.  the ocean tides shove and pull the water relentlessly and in effect it's kind of like a huge tsunami for each high tide.

the tides are so extreme that many boats rest on the ground during low tide.

the constant flushing of water makes for unique land formations and appearance.   the famous "flower pot" rocks were kind of cool.

typical river bed.

yup. cool.
