on top of the mountain is covenant college.
i'd been there a number of times before and know quite a few people who have gone there for college over the years. in fact, my mom went to school there before i was even born.
i sat in the lobby of carter hall and called bonny beth who graduated a few years back. i asked her if she could think of anyone who was currently there that i might know. her brother was there, but unfortunately i wasn't able to get a hold of him.
before leaving, i walked around the campus remembering previous visits. from lookout mountain, there is a really nice nighttime view of chattanooga.
driving down from lookout mountain is always a little bit exciting with it's steep grade combined with a handful of switchbacks and drop offs. it makes for a great view.

Ahh, such familiar sights. Sorry you weren't able to reach Enoch. He told me later that he was just hanging out at his house, but since he doesn't get cell phone signal and you didn't leave your phone number in the message, he didn't know your number to call you back. Too bad. You'll have to try again if you're ever back in Chatty.
