during the three weeks i spent in canada in june, these are some of the things i observed.
there were a number of younger aged girls working as gas station attendants. it struck me as unfamiliar. then at a gas station in nova scotia, a ten year old girl pumped my gas and did my credit card transaction! her mother was overseeing it... but still - i don't think i'd ever see that in the states.
some favorite license plates: "tardy" "lol"
i liked this car sticker
bathroom door knobs have a locking mechanism which is activated by simply pushing the knob toward the door.
i noticed the "trunk road" label to designate certain roads.
protected traffic intersection movements were indicated with green lights or green arrows that blinked.

Have you looked back at a map of the US and pin pointed all the stops on this journey? I'm tempted to put a marker on a Google Map for every stop or every blog post on your site to see it visually. Its only 300 points!
ReplyDeleteyeah that would be fun. in my very first post i created a link to a map but it didn't end up being easy enough to implement along the trip. maybe i'll do it after the trip if i slow down enough.
