hot night

the road took me through southern michigan.  i loved that it was summer, even though i was hot enough that i was sweating with the windows fully open.

i was in the thick of traffic, which i kind of missed while in canada.  there's nothing quite like holiday traffic.  several accidents happened along the way including a boat trailer that rolled off the road.  eww, that stinks!

there were a few connections with people that i had in michigan that didn't work out.  so just in case you were wondering, no, it didn't Always work out to meet up with people.

i spent the night in a walmart parkinglot in ypsilanti michigan.  it was by far the warmest night i'd slept in my van - only getting down to about 75 degrees inside my van even with the front windows open.  i was glad i had my custom made screens to keep bugs out, just in case : )
