columbus ohio

ohio.  ohio was the 40th state i'd been to on my journey which started eight months earlier in november.

very few people had seen me in more than just one or two states during my trip.  but in ohio i got to meet up with brittany for the third time in a third state: first in louisiana with her new orleans friends, then in florida with her family, and then in ohio where she lives.

we met for dinner at a chipotle near columbus ohio.  brittany introduced me to some of her delightful friends from church: drew, brent and marlin.   we all had a good amount of laughing as we shared stories.  they were fun to chat with and were very encouraging!  

in the parking lot they blessed me with a time of prayer before saying goodbye.  i counted myself incredibly blessed.   it's so cool and special to readily connect with people who share in the same promise of new life that is completely free to accept from god through the amazing work of jesus!  instant trust and care - as though we were family.
