besides the fact that i had a little trouble finding tom and karen's house, i felt at home when i found them and their visiting family members - kids andy and shauna and grandkids alex and nathan. i had first met all of them over new years at their big family get together in shauna's las vegas house.
they let me sleep in the loft. they shared family stories that made me laugh pretty hard. and karen fed me deliciousness for both dinner and breakfast. i purposely lost track of time because i was enjoying being there. but eventually i had to get going... wondering what state we'd meet in next. bye again!
