diamond head

my first excursion in the borrowed car took me through honolulu and waikiki to diamond head crater.  i was so excited to be able to Drive in hawaii!

it wasn't in my van, but it was driving which i love.

the crater itself was not so glorious, but the view from the rim which is accessed by a hiking trail from within was pretty sweet.   this was on the trail.

it was an enjoyable and successful day with a nice bit of exercise tossed in.
