i spent the weekend with dear friends in shingle springs, california
near sacramento. I had a great time! pictures of the fun will come
later.

then on tuesday I helped one of their friends who is building his
house grout some exterior wall tiles. at the end of the day, based on
our pace, there were enough walls left to keep a few guys busy for a
few more days. so, I agreed to put in more days of work this week to
help the project along. out of gratitude, I've been offered some cash
for the work, which will go a long way to help me on my journey.
