charleston, south carolina

i left greer way early in the morning and got to charleston around sunrise.  charleston was cool.  personally i liked the feel of st augustine more, but charleston had it's own kind of charm too.

i napped in my car for a little while and then walked along the sea wall and along some streets.

then i went a few miles north because i wanted to see a beach.  on my way i went over a cable stayed bridge and decided to pull off at the other end to look around.

eventually i came back to the bridge and parked under it.  i decided it was time to dig out my bike!  it was such a nice day, i had to do Something outside!  i biked up the bridge which was quite a workout!

then i biked back down and around a few streets.  i found myself in a soccer field trying to throw my frisbee against an unstable wind.  that didn't last too long because the wind was too fickle.  : (

then i went to a pier under the bridge.

then i sat on some grass in the sun.   sound like a nice bike ride?  it was. : )
