i stopped at starbucks to relax and listen to a tim keller sermon and enjoyed a drive around key west to take in the sights.
i liked this porch
the southern end of route 1
my three sisters and i were in key west two years ago, so a lot of good memories were going through my mind as i meandered around. i returned to some of the places i had seen before including the 'southernmost point' of the united states. with a storm approaching, the waves were beating hard against the monument.
it was a great place for people-watching because tourists wanted pictures next to the monument but didn't want to get hit by the waves. i guess it was worth braving.
it was fun to remember my time there with my sisters. it might have been sad too, except that i was anticipating seeing them later in the week!! i was so excited! : )

Jer, I really enjoy following your updates - it's great to see you having so many fun experiences. I'm definitely joining you in spirit for the warmer weather!
ReplyDeleteJeremy if we had known you enjoy standing on your head, we would have asked you to do so !!! Sounds like you're still enjoying FL. We enjoy keeping up with you on this blog.

well amy, your spirit can plan to wear short sleeves and sandals for all of next week!
ReplyDeletej&t, i wonder how it's possible that that was not discussed!! : )
ReplyDeleteThis is by far my favorite head stand pic. You're beard is getting thick too!
ReplyDeletehaha, that's great. i was reminded of the originality of the pose when i watched about 30 or 40 sane people standing on their feet for a pose before and after me.
